"I saw God in Pakistan!" —A Traveller's Anecdote.

Once by chance a Western happened to travel through Pakistan. On returning, someone inquired him, “What did you see in Pakistan”?

“I saw God!”, he replied.

On further inquiry, he told,

“I saw every kind of evil, misery and downturn in that poor country. From corrupt leaders to poor governance, bullying superpowers to most-hated insurgents, bombs to blood, floods to earthquakes, load-shedding to corruption, bullying superpowers to unwelcome insurgents, rundown economy to decrepit infrastructure, soaring suicidal rates to deaths caused due to hunger, jobless graduates trampling haplessly across the scorching roads, I saw everything I could ever imagine to be existing in the hell...

But I much wondered how come this country has managed to survive. Had any of our Western nations to see such problems, could it exist? –No! it would have been collapsed.

Which is the great power behind scene there to still uphold the existence of Pakistan?”
He paused for a short moment. Then replied,
“The God!”
