Al-Maktub or Written

There was a good text written in urdu language at backside of a Pakistani truck:

"NA WAQT SE PEHLEY, NA MUQADDAR SE ZIYADA"

Niether before the time (fixed in fate), Nor more than what fixed (in the fate).

  1. My less literal but smoother translation:

Not before the time, not more than destiny.

  2. "more" could also be replaced with "greater"

  3. welcome. much thanks for your valuable opinion. but the translated version really sometimes takes strange appearance (in contrast to the normal way of expression) , especially when we try to describe the detail as much close to the real meaning as possible.

i would be much pleased, if you keep on giving your opinions also in future. Thanks again , :)
